We are pleased to announce that Hire Marketing has won two gold level awards for both entries in the 2019 Hermes Creative Awards competition, featuring work developed for our client, Winnipeg Harvest.
Winnipeg Harvest is a not-for-profit, community-based food distribution and training center. Their truck fleet delivers food to 400 food banks/agencies across the province. “We developed a high impact creative messaging campaign to transform these trucks into mobile fundraising vehicles that raise awareness and support for Winnipeg Harvest wherever they go.” said Karen Taraska-Alcock, owner, Hire Marketing. “A big thank you to Gail Loewen, Past Chair and Keren Taylor-Hughes, CEO, Winnipeg Harvest for giving us the opportunity to develop this inspiring and important community campaign.”
As part of the campaign, local corporations were solicited to sponsor the operational costs of the trucks in exchange for logo recognition on the fleet. The first truck was sponsored by Manitoba Blue Cross, and the corresponding creative was developed Pro Bono.
